Blogging | Using Graphic Templates

Happy Hump Day folks! Today in Blogging I ant to just a take a few minutes to talk about using graphic templates and why you should do so. You see, everyone has a schedule and everyone needs to make sure they are getting everything finished in a timely manner. That's where I become a huge fan of using templates in general but especially graphic templates.

Templates of any kind are a huge time saver. Here are my top tips for using templates for your blog or business graphics

I've talked before about using email templates and how they alone can (literally) shave hours off of your day. Now we're going to dive into using graphics templates. Ready? Click clack, Jack!

Let's start with some reasons you should be using graphics templates for your blog or business shall we?

1 | Saving Time
2 | Band Consistency
3 | Seemingly Effortless Appearances
4 | Overall Flush Look
5 | Showing Your Mad Design Skills (even if you have none)

Now we'll chat about how to go about doing this:

  • Did you know that Canva saves your designs?
When you create an account with Canva and start creating, the final design is saved until you return to edit it. The drawback here is that every single time you edit that specific graphic, it saves. The bonus here is that it saves so you don't have to constantly worry about recreating an image from memory. Basically, t's an automatic saved template right in your Canva account!

  • Using a Blank Slate:
You can easily use your chosen photo editor to create a beautiful base that flows with your blogs branding. Save the blank slate so you can return to it and add text for each new post. Then just save the new graphic with the blog posts name and the template will remain clean and readily available. The bonus here is that you will always have a branded image to use anytime you need it.

  • Create Just One Universal Graphic:
If you start with your Pinterest graphic and scale it in just the right way, it becomes the perfect universal post. All you need to do is make sure your text fits the right areas for your other social media accounts and crop to fit, save and upload. One graphic, numerous possibilities!
