The 10 Apps I Use to Boost My Productivity

With any new year comes the ever increasing need to get yourself organized, get your shit together and better manage your time. Aside from my trusty planning system, I also keep a few apps up my sleeve that make my day run a lot smoother.

The 10 Apps I Use to Boost My Productivity

I used to have a very in depth app set up that involved more apps than I can count. But after I changed my productivity plan I also decided to do a device clean up as well and evaluate how I was spending my time.

The final result were just a few remaining apps combined with my planners to create the maximum impact in my time blocking schedule.

Buffer

I admit I was late to the Buffer game but that I am quickly adapting to using the system. Yes, I mostly post and schedule during my planning sessions and scheduling sessions each week but I have also downloaded the Buffer App for my Kindle so that I can re-buffer while on the go.

Pinterest

Having The Pinterest Kindle app has saved my bum time and again when I am looking to share some unscheduled content on Twitter or even Facebook. I schedule out a good chunk of my tweets but sometimes I like to point a tweeter in the right direction and having Pins saved for all occasions in organized boards has gone a long way to how quickly I can share others content.

Evernote

The single app I use for drafting posts you can read how I do it here. I have also started to use Evernote for creating and logging my thoughts on the many books I review each week/month/year and allows me to have folders dedicated for where that review needs to go.

Facebook Pages Manager

Because I gave up personal Facebook-ing as part of my new year, new life goal of allowing as little drama as possible into my life, I needed a way to have access to my business/blog pages without having to go through the pain of logging in to Facebook every day. Having a pages manager on my phone and Kindle allows me to check in with how my posts are doing, modify ads and even post on the go.

Google Analytics App -

This app allows me to check in whenever I like and from any device. It's been very handy when I am doing some planning on the go. I can check in to see how my posts are doing, run through the keyword manager and even track my adsense all in one fell swoop.

Blogger App -

The only one I am not providing a link for because it's available in all smartphone markets. This app is life saving when I need to follow up with comments, track my page views or even post on the go (you can only use mobile photos though). Wordpress has a similar app for most devices that I also have since I VA for a WP user.

Now it's YOUR turn!

What apps do you use to boost your productivity?
What apps have you heard about and want to try?
Do you have a system for tracking on the go?

Until next time,
