Tutorial | How To Add The Pinterest Verification To Your Blogger Blog

Adding the Pinterest verification code is actually a whole lot easier than you may thing. And I am sure many of you are shaking your heads because you did it a loooong time ago. But there are still some new bloggers out there who may still need to get their coded added and so this post will walk you through the simple one step process.

Verifying Pinterest makes it a lot easier to be a business and rank a little higher on the Pinterest scale of what gets through to a feed. Here's how to add your verification code to your template, without messing any code up in the process.

First you'll need to head into your Pinterest settings and look for the area to create your verification code. Once you've done that, you can just copy the whole code and head into your template.

Once you'rein your blogs template (back up your blog!!!!) and hit ctrl+f to search for <head> (on a windows device).

Your code generated from Pinterest will look similar to this (note: your numbers will be different so do not try to use this code):

<meta name="p:domain_verify" content="b1f86c9d0f33548bc6c3398d49dc2570"/>

and paste it into your template right ABOVE the <head> start code.

Easy Peasy yo! And you''re done!

Now just go back to where you got the code on Pinterest and look for the button that will allow you to verify the code. If you have added correctly, Pinterest will verify your blog and you are good to go!
